Job Description

  • You will partner to plant management and manage the overall financial integrity and performance of a manufacturing site.
  • You will support the Plant Leadership team in preparing and executing business proposals, verifying assumptions, and checking for daily execution.
  • You will manage finance for a complex plant cluster, hub or large manufacturing plant.

How You Will Contribute
You will:

  • Manage finance planning and performance management processes and related financial decisions potentially including strategic plan and annual contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a manufacturing plant, plant cluster or hub.
  • Support a strong controls and compliance environment in the manufacturing plant. You will also ensure that policies are understood in the organization and that proper controls and compliance are in place.
  • Partner with plant management to provide critical financial perspective and insight for business strategies and decisions. You will also monitor and adjust execution of actions.
  • Drive for harmonization, efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and build a mindset of continuous improvement within the Finance team.
  • Build a high-performing Finance team. You will also recruit and develop Finance talent and drive our Finance talent agenda with a focus on Supply Chain/plant controlling.

  • Technical Expertise in financial planning and performance management including analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and strategy development, investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets.
  • Business Acumen and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and snacking market including Supply Chain/manufacturing dynamics. Relevant experience in a large regional (or global) corporation.

  • Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies.
  • Manage month end reporting of category P&L’s including commentary.
  • Help the senior manager and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that enable perspectives for business strategies and decisions.
  • Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Manage the A&C budgets and actuals and be a business partner to the local Marketing Team
  • Influence and perform financial modelling regarding pricing.
  • Support and lead SKU rationalisation, sufficiency, 9 box analysis as and when regional submissions are due.
  • Support the finance digital ambition.
  • Support the local FD, MD as required.
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FP&A pipeline.

Education / Certifications

  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • In-depth knowledge/understanding of FP&A.
  • Preferred ACCA/CIMA or similar professional qualification (may be in final stage of qualification).
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP / International Accounting Standards and Statutory Accounting system.

  • This job covers all production and maintenance activities carried out in the Plant and involves a detailed knowledge of the operations of maintenance, weighing, steam systems and applications, vacuum system operations, cooker, forming/cooling systems and operations, usage and applications, etc.
  • It involves root cause analysis of issues arising to determine the best possible and lasting solution.
  • It also covers the detailed knowledge of the distribution network for the plant, including:
  • Ensure strict compliance to planned maintenance and improvement where feasible, of process, techniques and methods for the manufacture of standard quality product.
  • Provide adequate training for all categories of the workforce in the department (Manager/Non-management).
  • Implement all aspects of Total Quality Management (QA, QC, QA concept) including the operation of quality Setting up machines to start a production cycle.

Job Description

How You will Contribute
You will:

  • Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plan and build capability of the team to execute themselves;
  • Be part of the PM Pillar, own Key PM-Progressive Maintenance systems and work processes and build PM strategies in cooperation with pillar members.
  • Plan for efficient preventive and predictive maintenance activities per the Work Order Management process
  • Assist in the troubleshooting and lead the repair planning for equipment performance issues
  • Scheduling and coordinating contractor and service activities to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the plant’s equipment
  • Run MRP-Material Requirement Planning and planning procurement of spare parts according to demand and/or Progressive maintenance strategies; Eliminate useless and obsoletes materials; Update BOM’s and spare part inventories
  • Inventory Management of spare parts and other materials & consumables as needed by equipment technicians and apply self-service methodology for easy access. Define and implement policies for inventory optimization and based on TBM-Time based maintenance and CBM-condition based maintenance plans.
  • Be responsible for corrective maintenance intervention and tags management/execution; 
  • Coordinate the management of software backups; Be responsible for understanding and using SAP ERP systems & manage quality of data; 
  • Facilitate the management of the technical library. Participate in selection of suppliers/contractors as necessary
  • Enable effective communication of M & R – maintenance & repairs direction to working team and leadership to eradicate Global Efficiency (GE) losses; 
  • Lead cost reduction and spare parts optimization and critical spare parts management;
