We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Title: Maintenance Planner / Scheduler III
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

  • Develops detail job plans for mechanical resources according to turnaround schedules and work lists.
  • Develops field execution work planning packages for mechanical resources engaged in repairs and construction of fixed equipment, electrical, instrumentation, rotating equipment, analyzers, and other related equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level I and II tasks and responsibilities, Level III:

  • Perform work activities efficiently while continuously looking for cost-saving opportunities
  • Develops detailed job plans that include the following steps, durations, material, and equipment needs and cost estimates:
    • Resource requirements
    • Safety Plans
    • Efficient job tasking to guide field crews
    • Repair procedures
    • Associated drawings and specifications
    • Sequence of scheduling
    • Material & equipment needs
    • Gantt chart for complete job
    • Total hours
    • Cost estimate
  • Become knowledgeable of Client’s Turnaround Procedures
  • Coordinate planning resources in accordance with turnaround specifications, cost estimates, schedules, safety requirement, quality requirements, various procedures, standards, practices, etc.
  • Work with the Scheduler and execution to provide general coordination and monitor the progress of turnaround activities per the job plans and worklists
  • Coordinate multi-craft job plans with other craft specific planners
  • Update plans with any approved change orders and develops new plans that arise during the turnaround as requested by the client
  • Communicate daily with execution supervision during various phases of the turnaround to understand effectiveness of plan Analyze and recommend resolutions of work problems and execution in solving work problems
  • Adjust plans with feedback from execution
  • Walk down Job Packages and verify with prints and drawings
  • Perform pre-start up safety review
  • Create punchlists from pre-start up safety reviews
  • Confirm with execution the progress of key turnaround milestones
  • Develop detailed milestone plans and submits to scheduler
  • Manage detailed line item work list
  • Include job plans for resources to support operations shutdown and start up plans
  • Perform critical and near critical path analysis
  • Work directly with scheduler to finalize and optimize integrated event or turnaround schedule
  • Participate in Integrated Event and turnaround reviews (IR/TR’s) and reports per Turnaround Milestone Schedule
  • Prepare review documentation
  • Participate in planning and scheduling Peer Assists
  • Verify the following are completed:
    • Contractor execution of plan (work packages)
    • Bid Award contracts
    • Contractor selection and evaluation
    • Long lead and short term materials are ordered
    • Open work orders for disciplines as required by plans
    • Maintain a logistics and security plan
    • Develop a site mobilization / preparation plan and demobilization plan, including remove surplus materials and temporary trailers
    • Conduct post turnaround walk through
    • Incorporate of best practices and MEV technologies
  • Verify effective communications are maintained during various phases of turnaround including:
    • Scope changes
    • Field change orders 
    • Budgets
    • Critical Path
    • Utilization of contractors
  • Progressing and look-ahead schedules
  • Prepare package tasking details to guide field crews to perform safe and efficient field repairs.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a closely related position
  • Safety Champion – portrays a personal example of excellent safety, performance, mindset, and commitment
  • Extensive knowledge of various mechanical skills (pipe fitting, welding, boiler making, electrical, rotating equipment, instrumentation, X-ray techniques and interpretation)
  • Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs
  • Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings
  • Ability to coordinate various mechanical resources according to schedule and plan
  • Good teamwork, interpersonal skills, and ability to work with multiple workgroups
  • Ability to communicate quickly and effectively
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiar with MOC process and PSSR (pre-startup safety reviews) process
  • Basic safety training and/or site-specific training

  • Trained/fit-tested on usage of SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus) equipment and various respirators as needed
  • Trained in use of standard PPE (hard hat, gloves, eye, and hearing protection)
  • Trained to access scaffolds and ladders using fall protection PPE as needed
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Title: Hydrant Pit Cleaner
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

  • Participation in Low Points and Hydrant Pits
  • Participation in maintenance activities of Low Points and Hydrant
  • Reporting of Fueling and Hydrant equipment.
  • Reporting of Near misses and anomalies as related to Hydrant operations.

Compliance with all security, safety and quality control regulations as related to Depot and Hydrant operations:

  • Ensure compliance with Golden Rules and the use of stop card to prevent unsafe
  • Perform weekly checks on Hydrant pit valve as per the approved
  • Record all activities performed in the Logbook.
  • Prompt reporting of anomalies or fault on the pit and follow up with the necessary
  • Collection of authorization form prior to any of the mandatory hydrant pits and low points maintenance
  • Obtaining of valid On Duty Card (ODC) and Airside Drivers Permit for the airport
  • Coned-off of duty van and draining vehicle at the Tarmac to prevent collusion with other
  • Participate in the mandatory hydrant pits maintenance exercise such as weekly low point draining, monthly hydrant pits static test and six-monthly dynamic
  • Carrying out of 3600 safety check on the draining vehicle /duty van prior to driving out from the operational areas of the Tarmac.
  • Ensure quantity of product evacuated from the pit are return to depot and accounted for.
  • Follow up to ensure the quantity of product delivered into the draining vehicle are measured and recorded in the authorization form and hand over same to the Maintenance Engineer and Shift Supervisor on
  • Follow up to ensure drained product is discharged with the stock officer in attendance and document
  • Ensure the cleaning of depot low point.

Perform any other duty as assigned by the Shift Supervisors and management:

  • Ensuring operational vehicles are always in good working
  • Safely driving of operational vehicles to carry out Quality Controls and maintenance on Hydrant
  • Ensuring all occupants of the vehicles obey all set safety rules and
  • Obtaining all relevant permits for driving and Airside.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in any numerical field
  • Good driving skill with at least 5years
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Compliance with company ethics and values.

Title: Instrument Maintenance Technician III
Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

  • Installs and maintains instrument equipment in compliance with all rules and practices.
  • Tests and repairs instrumentation systems utilized by production equipment to ensure adherence to established performance levels and product quality.
  • Evaluates instruments to establish plans for repair. Documents and verifies problems and actions taken.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to the laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures. Special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment
  • Supports and encourages team effort between operations, engineering, and projects groups
  • Provides input and reviews the control specifications and work practices
  • Is responsible and accountable for control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual
  • Has the knowledge to apply and follow work permits through Permit To Work System (PTWS) as discussed in the Work Management Manual
  • Ensures the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program
  • Develops personal and team technical skills (for example, new regulations, equipment, methods, and others)
  • Attends and instructs (as needed) technical meetings, to keep instrument technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology
  • Develops and maintains open communications on control issues (for example, safe work practices, training, materials, and others) with co-workers
  • Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
  • Provides technical support to other Technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company’s instrument systems
  • Is able to generate Management of Change requests (MOCs) on control-related equipment and installation and can follow up with installation inspections consistent with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) Element 3
  • Constructs, monitors, and inspects new installations for their consistency with the mission and recommend upgrades as necessary
  • Acts as a stand-in for the Instrument Lead position as needed.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree and technical certifications required
  • Experience in maintaining Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant.

General Technical Skills:

  • Is familiar with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities
  • OIMS systems, related manuals, and procedures

Specific Technical Skills

  • Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap

Title: CT Construction Supervisor
Location: Rivers
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Purpose

  • To execute assigned multidisciplinary construction activities for the Project in accordance with Contract approved project management procedures
  • Ensuring HSE, quality, schedule and budget standards are met in a controlled, transparent and auditable manner in collaboration with the EPC Contractor through to Mechanical Completion and Precommissioning.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Functionally & Administratively reports to: Project Construction Area Lead (TBC).

Working Relationships:

  • Internal: Departments, MOF and other Management teams in the Production and Technical divisions, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
  • External: Contractor, Vendors, Suppliers and Contractors.

Main Accountabilities

  • Deliver and supervise the construction of allocated Project Construction scopes, including constructability reviews, in accordance with the CLIENT
  • approved Project Management Procedures, within approved project scope, HSE, quality and schedule.
  • Lead role in Construction supervision at site. This will be multidisciplinary role, covering MEIC scopes.
  • Develop Construction Risk Assessment of assigned scopes aligned with the Project Risk Assessment to identify and assess risks, issues and uncertainties associated with implementing the Project and implement the Construction Risk Management Plan and mitigation strategies for  assigned project scopes.
  • Lead role in Goal Zero HSE delivery at site: Apply the HSE and Quality Management Plan for assigned construction activities.
  • Lead Quality delivery of scopes: Direct role in ensuring adherence to the Project Quality Management System to achieve quality delivery of Project,
  • and carry out, where required, construction Quality inspections changes, Technical Integrity, deviations and queries in accordance with the Change  Management Processes.
  • Implement and lead the development, refinement and execution of scopes for Shutdown and non-Shutdown scopes, including commissioning and start up plan support to flawless start up and Handover.
  • Lead role in detailed scheduling and Method statement reviews and finalization.
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive construction progress & Daily reports for assigned projects for effective communication and seamless  construction delivery.
  • Ensure compliance to the terms and conditions of Contract and help review of Contractor claims.
  • Support timely indirect site management such as scaffolding, material delivery, etc. at site.
  • Help apply and manage hands on Tool Time productivity and forecasting at site.
  • Lead role in Completions: help generate and ensure complete closure of ITR’s, documentation and Punch List items, timely handover of  documentation of completed projects, including Marked Up, As Built Drawings / Documentation and perform Construction Performance Post  Implementation reviews, Lessons Learned and Close Out Reports for assigned Mechanical/Piping projects to support company’s continual improvement initiatives.
  • Lead role in Precommissioning coordination (e.g. flushing/hydrotesting/energization.).

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 10 years post graduate experience out of which at least 6years should have been similar multidisciplinary construction supervisory roles on a similar scale.

Title: Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist II
Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The prime objective for the Fixed Equipment Strategy Specialist is to coordinate and facilitate fixed equipment strategy development for the site.
  • The role also provides materials engineering support for routine and turnaround activities for the site.

Responsibilities
In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:

  • Manages the facility-wide maintenance function to ensure the availability of safe, responsive, high quality, repair and maintenance services including preventive, routine, non-routine and emergency capabilities.
  • Provide necessary development, motivation, coordination and internal cooperation for groups/individuals under his/her control in order to maximize efficiency.

Facilitate the Fixed Equipment Strategy program:

  • Responsible to establish annual and periodic fixed equipment strategy plans with the business teams for fixed equipment
  • Provide technical support on program execution – pressure equipment coating, vessels inspection, tanks inspection & calibration, PSV risk based inspection etc.
  • Update/optimize equipment strategies based upon incidents, equipment history and inspection data analysis
  • Steward equipment strategy implementation versus plan to the business team
  • Provide support for metallurgical analysis of failures and assistance in materials related Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
  • Recommend material selection for major equipment replacement/upgrades
  • Support unit inspectors in analyzing operating, maintenance and non-destructive testing data to establish remaining life of equipment and recommend repairs and/or replacement to extend equipment remaining life
  • Participate in the Materials Integrity – Fixed Equipment (MI-FE) community of practitioners (CoP) network as a network member for collaboration and global learnings sharing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Adroit in technical writing and business communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
